Liver cleanse weight loss

Recommended Posts

Well that's a vague question. Every one had different amount of days. Different rules and calories allowed.

I did my own diet total of 9 weeks with surgery tomorrow I've lost 64lbs that's roughly 7lbs a week :)

mostly shakes & no sugar. No junk. NO cheating. Low calories low carbs!! (some tuna or veg or fruit)

It all comes down to how strict you are through out that process and of course you have to continue to work hard post op!

You mean the liver shrinking pre-op 2 week diet? I think maybe 3 pounds.

How much did everyone loose during the liver cleanse?

I think a lot of it depends on your starting weight and how good you were leading up to the start. I'm 8 days in right now, I don't weigh myself every day but two days ago I was down 11. In all fairness, I had at least a week of "Last Supper" syndrome and visited a few places that I won't go back to again for months (or ever) so that only inflated the loss a bit. YMMV.

I’m starting mine 3 weeks before surgery, I meet with my nutritionist on the 22nd to see what my diet will consist of, it’s going to be $100 per week for me 😭.

That is awesome, I think I am going to start mine today, surgery is not until Dec 10 but she gave me a list of things like chicken, fish, egg whites, etc. with a list of vegetables and the Protein Shakes. I tried the Protein Shake Unjury (Chocolate) it was really good. I am so ready to utilize the tool of RNY just to be on the losing bench! LOLOL Each visit I have maintained my weight of 266 well I gained 1.8 pounds and it was because I stopped using my food journal and I knew what I was eating was not right. I told myself I was having a food funeral but couldn't go all out because I felt guilty doing so and that 1.8# wt. gain showed!

To be clear, I'm on cream Soups, lettuce, celery, cucumbers and shakes. I throw some Protein Water in there for some variety.[emoji1]

Hi everyone! I’m brand new here. I just went through all my pre-op requirements per my insurance company and now everything has been submitted and I’m just waiting for final approval and my surgery date. I’ve been doing research, watching YouTube videos, TikTok’s, ect.. trying to prepare my mind and what to expect so I’ll be ready for the surgery. I was so sure and so set and so ready and excited. However, now that I’ve done everything & it’s almost here, I am sooooooo scared! I know why I want it bc I’ve tried everything and I just don’t feel like I can lose weight by myself. I’m tired of being overweight my entire life. I’m miserable, but I keep psyching myself out afraid of GERD bc I know how that can be and I don’t want to have to get a bypass after already gaining the courage to even get VSG. I’m scared of complications like I’mgoing to regret doing it and be depressed that I didn’t just be more disciplined and try again to lose the weight on my own even sitting here typing this knowing in my mind i just can’t and don’t possess the discipline. I’m also afraid I won’t be able to handle the restrictions of the sleeve. What do I eat? I don’t know how to eat healthy really and don’t enjoy healthy food. I don’t know how to do this! I feel so defeated!Someone tell me they felt anything similar to this or am I not ready? I thought I was. I am so tired of being sick and tired and so tired of myself and so tired of being stuck and stuck in this body and somebody different on the outside from what I feel inside. I just want to ball up and cry.

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
