LastChance57 35 Posted October 12, 2019 Gastric Bypass (with Hernia Repair, and Gallbladder Removal) on 10/2. I still have tummy pain but besides the 2 bouts (tears) I’ve had, it’s going pretty well. On 10/15, my doctor will let me know if I can have puréed food and I’m really looking forward to it!!
Cheeseburgh 3,080 Posted October 12, 2019 (edited) It isn’t uncommon for people to use food to ease anxiety without even knowing it. The ability to eat while stressed is removed the first few months so identifying what is causing it and learning to cope is really important for long term success. Of course your anxiety could also be due to wacky hormones, but I wouldn’t assume anything. Edited October 12, 2019 by Cheeseburgh
