Maidenhail 16 Posted October 6, 2019 Hi All i have gastric sleeve surgery booked for October 14th. I live in UK but as I’m paying for my own surgery I’m having it done in Turkey. I’ve spent a lot of time researching the hospital and surgeons but I’m pretty nervous. My mum is coming as moral support. I haven’t found the pre-op diet easy - I have a busy, job that’s rather stressful and last week I had a few days where I felt weak and faint. Hopefully all will go well with the surgery- I will update you all then. It’s been great reading about other people’s experiences.
New&Improved 1,780 Posted October 6, 2019 I'm not sure what it would be like in a foreign country hospital. Just keep focused on the future and the positives. I'm going to surgery on 28th in Australia I live. I got insurance but still have to pay out of Pocket.. Only traveling around 300 (460km) miles round trip for surgery which is far enough for me 1 Maidenhail reacted to this
