BuffettPhan 0 Posted March 13, 2008 There is a guy that swims at the pool that I really can not stand. He knows it all has done it all before and better. He swims on Sunday and that is all the motivation I need for 2000 straight. This is the website I wnated to post , but didn't have it flagged at the office enjoy it. Knocked out 1000 tonight after a 2 mile walk with the wife. Starting to feel real good in the pool. Cerrin 3 Posted March 13, 2008 I miss swimming. The only pools arround here is the YMCA and it is so expensive to join for one person.
Kalia Jade 0 Posted March 13, 2008 Wow 2 miles...that's a pretty long walk! I never have enjoyed walking or jogging, the minute I start getting hot and sweaty I'm done. I guess that's why I became a swimmer! I wish I could find something else that I really enjoy doing besides swimming. The gym I go to is full of Barbie and Ken dolls (Full makeup, overly tan, and extremely tight clothes), so I really don't want to try yoga or pilates I would be kinda embarrased. Funny how I don't have a problem getting in a swimsuit around them though. I guess it feels good to know that even though I'm overweight I can still swim faster than most of them. Weird, huh??? Maybe I'll try something new when I lose this next 30 pounds.

Kalia Jade 0 Posted March 18, 2008 I was actually thinking of doing some bike riding as soon as the weather gets warmer. Maybe ride around the neighborhood on the days that I don't swim. Sounds like a good idea to me! Your arms had to of been sore after a 500 with paddles....I wish I still had my old paddles b/c I haven't used any in a long time. I think I might invest in some new equipment, I always just use the kickboards & pull bouys that the athletic club has. It would be nice to use my own. Do you order your equipment online? If so, which website do you use? The only one I really know of is swim2000.com
