Lbtnew 89 Posted September 30, 2019 Just 6 weeks out and away on vacation. Had wine 2 nights in a row but out the kabosh on that today. I have been beating myself up about it sabotaging my weight loss. I weigh myself only once a week so I will see Wednesday how much damage I did. Just can't get it out of my head. Anyone else experience this ? 1 Orchids&Dragons reacted to this
Colorado Cowgirl 170 Posted September 30, 2019 Sometimes I have nightmares about big time cheating. You should be fine so long as it doesn't become a habit. Now you can get back on track! 1 Lbtnew reacted to this
catwoman7 11,220 Posted September 30, 2019 watch out with the drinking. Not only can you sabotage your weight loss, transfer addiction is REAL. Alcohol tastes way better to me now that it did before surgery - so I avoid it like the plague. The last thing I need is an alcohol problem... 1 AZhiker reacted to this
Orchids&Dragons 9,047 Posted September 30, 2019 This is a long road with a steep, winding learning curve. Don't beat yourself up, just learn from your mistakes. Nobody's perfect. You put yourself back in control. That's great! 1 Lbtnew reacted to this
S@ssen@ch 745 Posted September 30, 2019 I agree with Orchids&Dragons. One missed step isn't going to completely derail you unless you let it. Pick yourself up, dust off your coat and keep going on your journey. 2 Lbtnew and Orchids&Dragons reacted to this
Lbtnew 89 Posted September 30, 2019 Thanks to all, that's just the reinforcement I needed. Feeling better already. 1 FluffyChix reacted to this
BQCadet 11 Posted October 3, 2019 There is practically no chance you will never eat or drink anything bad again. Doing something once or twice is not going to derail you unless you let it snowball into habits. Don't beat yourself up. If you think I'm never going to eat a piece of pizza again post op you are crazy. I'm just going to do it very rarely and in extreme moderation. 2 Orchids&Dragons and Lbtnew reacted to this
