Unclechaz 90 Posted November 10, 2019 Unclechaz Today my stomach feels exactly like I'm having labor pains. I swear it spasms or has contractions when I swallow even a tiny bit too much. Sorry if I repeat myself, I'm taking my pain meds! I see a lot of people say they don't need them but I do for now. I'm sorry to hear. Feel better.Sent from my SM-G950U using BariatricPal mobile app
ChangingSeasons 16 Posted November 10, 2019 Brand new here, but I got my sleeve on Nov. 5th. The first few days were pretty rough, mostly with nausea, but things are feeling much better today. My doctor gave me the go ahead for full liquids today, and it surprised me that it took two hours to drink a Premier Protein RTD this morning. Peppermint tea and diluted Powerade have been lifesavers! I feel like I've gotten off easy with the recovery so far, but I know I have a lot of challenges ahead of me. It will be great to be able to follow other sleevers who are around the same stage as I am. Hi Morrigan. Glad you're feeling better! I added mint extract to my crystal light and it helped my nausea so much! It really helped me to hydrate when I didn't want anything in my stomach. I'm also on liquids. ChangingSeasons 16 Posted November 10, 2019 I just had my sleeve surgery on Nov 7 th but I am having such a hard time with the clear liquid crap . I know things will be different when I can eat some food but I was wondering if anyone else felt this way I'm finding it so hard to continue the clears too. Variety has definitely saved me but it's hard when I'm cooking REAL FOOD for my family plus every other commercial is for food. I just keep telling myself I've come too far to fail. You can do this! Keep pushing! Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app 1 SheilaS reacted to this

I am soooo nervous these butterflies in my stomach wont stop fluttering and i also feel very anxious but im ready to be on the other side.. I have to be at the hospital at 9:15 am.. 😊 I'll tell you, the past two weeks were easier than I thought being on the liquid diet with some low-cal yogurt and one Proti-bar per day. However the last two days of clear liquid have officially sucked. I don't like the clear Protein Drink and I just feel weak and tired. On top of all that, nervous about tomorrow. Mine is later in the day. 12:15pm, the hospital called on Friday to discuss last minute stuff and I hope it's not further delayed in the day and I'm done and through recovery with enough time to see my family. In the last week I've finally told my sister and my Mother so they want to be there now. However I am also very encouraged. Both because I can't believe I've plowed through these last two weeks without a single mis-step and because I finally found this community. It's so nice to be here, even though I'm mostly a lurker and haven't posted much. So, how are the rest of my November 11th brothers and sisters doing? 2 SheilaS and HappyHikerGal reacted to this
