I started my preop diet on 5 May 2019 and tend to think of this date as my anniversary, rather than my actual surgery date of 15 Oct 2019. Since May 2019 I've lost about 140lbs; 90lbs of this was after being sleeved. I lead a very busy, very active life and my goal weight is within sight, but it's more important to me to be fit, strong, and healthy, which I now am. Before becoming MO, I was a competitive athlete, and am again able to participate in sports and fitness the way I used to. There have been dozens of NSV's, and I'm grateful for every one of them. My focus continues to be on the psychological adjustments and actions required to permanently change my habits and behaviors. Since the coronavirus lockdown, I've continued to strictly follow an eating and exercise schedule so that I remain on track. With so much uncertainty at this time, what I put in my mouth and do with my body are one of the few things within my control right now. Congrats and well done to all my fellow Oct sleevers. 1 Hop_Scotch reacted to this

ANewHooze 4 Posted September 17, 2020 Oh I’m so happy to hear from you my twin! How much weight have you lost? How are you dealing with the drastic changes in feeding yourself.? I’m so curious about the pain level after you got home & how long before you were feeling (the new) normal? Thanks so much for reaching out. I’m scared/nervous/excited/hopeful! Rachael LiBengood 3 Posted September 21, 2020 Hello all, I am due for surgery in October but I finally finished out the program to be able to submit my paperwork to my insurance as of Thursday 9/17/20 now I'm just waiting on a call from my baratric team to choose what day in October. My program was technically supposed to end October 1st but I got done a little sooner 😅✨ I'm in need of support other than my boyfriend and his family. I'm so scared. but sorta excited. I deal with anxiety and depression so it can be a bit of a struggle some days I think I got the whole WLS thing down and others I'm just way overwhelmed by it all! Encouraging words accepted* I'm in need of them. Much love ~ Rachael
