This is usually made with crab, but I have none in so used tuna.

135g can of tuna mushed with a fork to get rid of any lumps

2 soft boiled eggs

3-4 Tablespoons Low fat mayo

Add all ingredients to a bowl and mash well, normally you mix well and leave chunks of egg/crab but obvs you want it quite mushy for the puree stage.

Measure you serving out and eat :) (my plates look very scratched on camera and not black but brown!!)GyjyeOr-6Vdem94PxjMUcveghvlaZPqA_frb3SB_JYq9MBeq_DUGEXp_7oCiwXpKbcOYXHvQiad3Oy3WarE73-73PgPVOX3Kyu3s5wWzf5ZASwRzkjjc_Wb1HnDEP5U-vcbkBYAmT07rn8UJH3BLqjyQ6lsErSMo43RCvEVwGqgTP-F5znKfg_zxkI1OatmM8ycl4mgOZaSxadGCSagsgbGv44k9Ut8mtLG4e-BY8hJYu5lzqCiuTIrciWNshU5TG52sGD2TnWBikDS7ysBCHYtXklRbcXUtHuGeDsJz59b-EO-dUhmRKy4pgtUUmF4xLOga3dS0OslDnip4yZQTT59CGgo6GzsXIvKhAIr7hQ7BlzBOMhsUcQ_6yelNe6iezxZ77Ung8yeoHUZ-LzRsikriAGqjlYFH9XXQC5r8SxsaBPGjHnalfR5Shslm1M0oWwp1p7nkIMwH6C_t80DtQaPUbtegaS07aXd3GKALs2bjgoeljF2Tu1FjLYRKwAMkLODnwI_wRe0pvGneOCJliKdSEpxk-9u_21pc1p2YkCHl5ZQTUtcuq9RNvx_4gqlLr4Vex7yAC1jMorCmv2U0BI6tIh7wTga8YXMjFqjbng3lBoNDJI5JwjuCMQSjDSjW28te-h_6DTbgA-4b9vUSLzyoi0yYmuq8zkWuLlzOOGMadYlh3Ybbgp8k=w875-h746-no

Next time, try subbing 2% cottage cheese for your mayo (can't remember if you are lactose intolerant?) then add 1 tbsp Greek yogurt and a tiny bit of mayo and a little bit of dijon mustard (chopped up Claussen dill pickle spear and a couple of chopped green onions if allowed).

It makes it so creamy, a better bang for your calorie and Protein buck, and tastes awesome!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
