Blueeyes66 11 Posted September 13, 2019 When I eat it feels like my food goes straight down then settles on the lower left side and it burns. Has anyone had this happen? I dont know if it's normal or not. I've never had it happen before.
Torriluv02 44 Posted September 14, 2019 How long have you been out from surgery? Does it go away with antacids? You should probably see your surgeon.Sent from my SM-G950U using BariatricPal mobile app 1 FluffyChix reacted to this

I dont know if it's normal or not. I've never had it happen before.Sometimes I've experienced the same thing except it's not a burn but rather a sharp pain. I've consulted my doctor and he believes the pain will stop when I'm completely healed because that's the area i had the most scar tissue. I had my surgery on 7/25 and I'm noticing that I'm not experiencing it as much. My question to you is did you have GERD? because the burning can be attributed to that. Frustr8 7,886 Posted September 14, 2019 I would love a non- tight pouch- I swear THE WAY Precious Pouch acts she might be made out of Portland Cement- she will not expand above 4-5 oz and I'm a Whole Year out- so I guess there isn't a whole lot of Hope there! lyladyp 120 Posted September 14, 2019 I had surgery in May and I feel this. It’s like I feel the food go down and settle, but after an hour or so the feeling dissipates. I have just been dealing with it and figure over time it will resolve itself. 1 FluffyChix reacted to this
