NYCGAL000 59 Posted September 3, 2019 I had mini bypass in July and no matter what I eat, it tastes disgusting and I spit it out except watermelon. Anyone else have this issue????

2Bsmaller18 436 Posted September 3, 2019 I have days/times where I don't want to eat but I put the food in a small bowl and try to watch TV or play a game on my phone to distract me to get the food in without feeling gross. The distraction helps.

mousecat88 2,281 Posted September 4, 2019 Some stuff tasted off or weird to me. Like I can't stand vanilla now at all. Your taste buds will change over the next few weeks/months. Even if it's gross, still eat it.
sillykitty 10,776 Posted September 4, 2019 Look at this as a golden opportunity. Use this time to focus on pure nutrition. Get the Protein and Fiber you need, for the fewest calories. You can maximize your weight loss during this phase. There will be a point that food starts tasting good again & cravings return. At that point it will be harder to eat completely on plan. Cameo325 27 Posted September 4, 2019 YES! I still get somewhat hungry when its time to eat, but, one bite of food and I'm grossed out. I finish because I have to but its so depressing!
