charose 0 Posted November 22, 2007 Gm everyone , I had the lapband surgery almost 2 yrs ago and I lost A total of 71lbs. After all that my Dr. has to go back in to raise my port and flip it back around because it had turned on it's side when it is suppose to be laying flat. WASaBubbleButt 41 Posted November 22, 2007 It's an easy surgery. Usually it's done in the MD office unless he doesn't have the instruments necessary. They can numb you up and do it or if you are a weenie butt like me they can do it in OR while you are asleep. But really, it's no big deal. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
TulipStar 2 Posted November 23, 2007 My port flipped and I am having revision surgery on the 28th of November. I had only my lapband for 7 weeks before it flipped. My dr said the recovery time should be quicker. I have to go back in the hospital to have it done. He said he will just reopen my port incision.
