Jay19 76 Posted September 2, 2019 So I’ve been having severe right side pain. It is not surgical pain. I can’t even walk without pain. When I lay down the pain is gone. Has anyone else ever had this pain? I was sleeved 8/27/19 pod 6. I might go to the ER because this does not feel normal. Also, I don’t think it’s gallbladder since I don’t have fever, nausea, etc. Also, I’m wondering if it’s just muscle pain.
Mom_of_Chaos 545 Posted September 2, 2019 For me that pain was from my stomach/pouch pulling down so when I’d lay down I got relief. It was gone by week 2 1 Krimsonbutterflies reacted to this

With my gallbladder, I never had nausea or fever until the weekend I had to have it removed as an emergency. So you may be an oddball like me! Any pain that affects your normal daily activities, that you cannot control at home with over the counter analgesia needs to be seen by a Dr. 1 Tracyringo reacted to this
Jay19 76 Posted September 2, 2019 Thanks for the responses. I ended going to the ER. They did a CT scan and it was normal. I am going to see my surgeon tomorrow.
Jay19 76 Posted September 2, 2019 I also had to drink 8 ounces of Water for the contrast and for some reason I was able to drink it all at once and I didn’t even have stomach discomfort. I was surprised because my stomach is supposed to be so small now

At least you know all is well with your stomach and good you are seeing your surgeon, let us know how you get on/what he thinks. Edited to say how bizarre being able to drink the 8oz :O Edited September 2, 2019 by Bastian
