Alasyx 12 Posted August 27, 2019 I am feeling really good today post surgery. After Initial pain for a couple of hours, I have been keeping all my Water down and walking regularly and using the breathing thing. Going to try to get some sleep soon. But I will say the Toradol Really helped. Wish it was one of my prescriptions going home instead of Percocet. I was having trouble with a bit of pain with the water initially. After that shot I’ve had no problems all day. Anyone have a similar experience?
Bianca S. 195 Posted August 27, 2019 Glad to hear your doing good! Was the pain with Water in your stomach or in your chest? I felt pressure in my chest the first few days. Also was the water cold? I was told to have room temp/ was given room temp in the hospital so I wouldn’t get stomach cramps/pain.
Alasyx 12 Posted August 27, 2019 It was chest stomach area. The Water is all room temperature. It was definitely crampy. But the Toradol Definitely made a difference. Glad to hear your experience. 1 ladybutterfly.1322 reacted to this

MLB357 58 Posted August 27, 2019 Welcome to losers club...first couple days after surgery are hardest, remember you just had most of your stomach removed. It does get better believe us, we all been there. But please be careful with medication.. remember its only a temporary tool to help get you through the surgery... Alasyx 12 Posted August 27, 2019 Thank you. I am trying to stay off the pain medication. The Toradol is like a anti-inflammatory. Today the cuts are kind of hurting more than anything. Especially the bigger one. Hoping to get past this first few days. I know it will get better 1 Lynda486 reacted to this
pudge.vsg 14 Posted August 27, 2019 Hey Alasyx! How was the whole going under and waking up process. My Surgery is set for Thursday and I’m absolutely anxious and worried about that part of this process.
Alasyx 12 Posted August 27, 2019 Surgery went really well. But I cannot lie. I got to go home today on the second day and my incisions are really hurting. It’s hard to get up and down at all. I am fine when standing. Or laying down but those times when you have to get up or excruciating. Hope it passes in a couple of days 1 Bianca S. reacted to this
