Jazzy1125 1,010 Posted August 20, 2019 Good Morning all, Any Floridians in here? I am searching for some folks that are local to get together, hang out, and support one another. I do attend a support group here and they are great, but most of the folks support there, doesnt flow over. I am hoping to find ppl to bounce ideas off of, maybe go to the gym together and that sort of stuff. I know i am wierd LOL.. To all those here that are not Floridians.. Dee2938 71 Posted August 20, 2019 Hi! I’m a Floridian too and not only that, but I’m getting my surgery done with Dr. Shillingford too. I’m pre-op and will be having my surgery on September 19th. Jazzy1125 1,010 Posted August 20, 2019 Dr. Shillingford is great. I will tell you he does not sugar coat LOL.. but that is the good thing, after all we are doing something major to our bodies. He did an awesome job. FYI- he does not take pics of the stomach unless you ask him before surgery. I did ask to see if he had mine and thats when i found out he doesnt take them unless the patient asks beforehand. I live in central florida so i do not go down to Boca for my follow ups.. i do them by phone consult and i have joined a support group here near home.
