JAKE H 1,230 Posted August 20, 2019 gained 3 lbs overall or from your last weigh in? 1 GreenTealael reacted to this
Danny Paul 761 Posted August 20, 2019 A family member had WLS a month and a half ago. He as well as others (me included) stepped on the scale only to find a weight gain. Then when told not to step on the scale every day and weigh only weekly did he find his weight loss to return. In a nutshell, nothing to worry about and if weighing everyday STOP and weigh weekly. 3 1 melvan71, GreenTealael, Orchids&Dragons and 1 other reacted to this
Jazzy1125 1,010 Posted August 20, 2019 i agree do not weigh daily. I weigh weekly and it keeps your sanity. Good Luck on your journey and welcome to the losers bench. 2 FluffyChix and GreenTealael reacted to this
FluffyChix 17,415 Posted August 20, 2019 You're probably just full of poop. Or water...work the plan hon. Weight loss isn't linear but one thing it IS? Frustrating. Weightloss is so frustrating. I feel your pain. 2 GreenTealael and GradyCat reacted to this
lyladyp 120 Posted August 20, 2019 I only count my weight once a week on the same day. Continuously stepping on the scale may drive you crazy. I stepped on it one day between my regular weigh day and there was a 5lb difference. By the time it got to the actual day there was loss. 1 1 GreenTealael and FluffyChix reacted to this
GradyCat 3,695 Posted August 20, 2019 3 pounds is probably either Water or lack of bowel movement. Don't fret over it. Just stick with the program. 2 1 FluffyChix, melvan71 and GreenTealael reacted to this

I'm getting bummed Sent from my SM-N950U using BariatricPal mobile app I don’t know if this will make sense to you but it worked for me. I was not eating enough to gain weight on 600 calories a day, that is impossible. There were times I would step on the scale and the number would be a few pounds higher. Logically I knew I had not gained weight. I changed my thinking and told myself, “I weigh more today for some unknown reason” I stopped thinking in terms of weight gain it was just fluctuations. I started weighing myself less frequently and only on mornings when I felt “lighter “. It really helped me and kept me sane. Best of luck to you! 1 1 GreenTealael and melvan71 reacted to this
