The wonderful compression stockings

No, no compression stockings. Just encouraged to walk around. No blood thinners needed, either, thankfully. Just a ton of heparin shots in the hospital. The shots left permanent discoloration... which may be removed during my upcoming TT. It's a big brown spot. =/

They weren't really uncomfortable but was a pain to put back on after walking so they said I could leave them off. I generally took a stroll down the hall every time I got up to tinkle.

I never had any compression socks either. I had the machine on my legs with the lovenox injections. I still got a blood clot, but I was in the hospital way longer than most.

My hospital here in The Netherlands say I have to keep them on for 4 weeks. I also have the shots & take my regular blood thinner medication.
