Lizwiz 5 Posted August 15, 2019 I am on my first day of the pre op diet. I am so proud of myself, I haven't cheated and I've wanted to multiple times. I know as the 2 weeks move along may get a little more difficult but hopefully I'll adjust. Anyone else with surgery date 8/28/2019. I have about 150 pounds to lose! Any advice or tips would be welcomed. catwoman7 11,221 Posted August 15, 2019 the first couple of days were the worst for me. Once your body goes into ketosis, it's not as bad. 5 nenes78, Ava R, ProudGrammy and 2 others reacted to this

FluffyChix 17,415 Posted August 15, 2019 I agree with @catwoman7--the first days are the worst! Hang in there. Stay busy and drink busloads of Water, decaff black coffee, decaff green tea and your Protein Drinks. Also sugar free popsicles and a sf Jello per day. 3 Selena_Sarajevo, ProudGrammy and Nonnaof4 reacted to this

[emoji4] It is not so bad , at least it wasn't today . I'm allowed to drink Soups and Protein Shakes - but must keep my calorie intake to 1200 .Right now I'm bothered by headache but I guess it is normal untill my body gets used to this I will start taking Biotin and some good Vitamin and mineral combo tomorow just to keep my immune system in check I even walked a few hours with my girl We went in parks and she had fun Hopefully tomorrow will be a success like today [emoji2] Sent from my SM-J500FN using BariatricPal mobile app
