I am just curious if they still have you wear a binder after surgery?

I personally didn't use one after either of my weight loss surgeries but patients tell me that it makes a HUGE difference. I used one after RNY reversal since that was an open procedure and I don't think I could have managed without it.

I bought one on Amazon it got me through the first two weeks, now I no longer need it

They gave me one at the hospital the first time I got out of bed. I used it about a week or 2. It helped quite a bit because you don't have to use your hands to support your sore belly when moving around. Also, it makes walking more comfortable.

Some do and some don't. I'd ask your surgeon prior to surgery.

I will be 3 weeks out on Wednesday & I've wore mine constantly. I did remove it to wash it and could tell the difference in aches while moving around, bending etc.
