judymorenoc 2 Posted August 11, 2019 Hello everyone! I just had my gastric sleeve done on Tuesday! And was discharged on Thursday! But since my discharge I’ve been very nauseous and vomiting white foamy stuff! Has anybody had that issue! Am taking my nausea medication as directed! It’s usually in the morning it happens! Any advice is welcome! Thank you 1 1 FluffyChix and GradyCat reacted to this
Claudine J. 13 Posted August 11, 2019 I had lots of nausea, especially the first three days and then on and off for about eight weeks depending on what I ate. I was vomiting in the hospital but because there was no food nothing came up, just a bad taste in my mouth which made the nausea worse. This will most likely go away soon so just hang in there and take your anti nausea medicine if you have. 1 1 FluffyChix and judymorenoc reacted to this
GradyCat 3,695 Posted August 11, 2019 I didn't have any nausea once I left the hospital, but sometimes once I started on solid foods I get the "foamies." You'll see here on the forums about the "foamies." It happens when you eat something your body is rejecting or isn't ready for. I'm 8 months post-op sleeve and my stomach will not tolerate bread or soft tortillas and I get the "foamies" if I eat them. It's like throwing up, but no food comes out, just foam or mucus. 1 judymorenoc reacted to this
