The bottom line is we all have to make our own choices. Those of you having your first surgery might want to take a look at stats of those who have had 2 surgeries for whatever reasons. Ask your Drs. about the Protein Bars and go from there.

I have always been a Protein Bar for Breakfast person. The thought of any other thing that early makes me gag. I love the Pure Protein Deluxe chocolate, very satisfying. Also, I like Built Bars. They're 110 cal, 15g of protein and amazing flavor choices. The texture is quite "marshmallowy" so it's odd at first. I like them out of the fridge which firms them up.
