Sandra Nuelken 419 Posted August 6, 2019 Today was my first day of "full liquids" and I had a 1/2 c. of fat-free cream of chicken Soup. I heard the angels sing. I'm going to try some tonight as I still can't sleep. I've averaged about 4 hours a night. Horrid dreams and just restless. Last night it took 90 minutes to go to sleep. This too shall pass. 3 AZhiker, Lynda486 and HipHopDiva reacted to this

I'm so surprised I did not need to take any pain narcotics since being home. When I was in the hospital, I only used the pump a couple of times. I was more than fine with liquid Tylenol. I have a terrible pain in my chest still when I drink/eat certain foods. Hope you get much needed rest. 5'4"Starting weight 297VSG on 7/31/19 265CW 253GW 135Sent from my [samsung Galaxy] using BariatricPal mobile app

S@ssen@ch 745 Posted August 7, 2019 I think it's pretty normal to have sleep disturbances for the first couple of weeks. I know I slept very poorly for about the first month. So, not only are we dealing with surgical recovery but sleep deprivation! Best of luck and congrats on the soup!
