Healthy_life2 8,324 Posted August 7, 2019 I dont see anyone forgetting how different our bodies are. It does not matter how each of us choose to work our fitness program. Our bodies ...our choices.Sent from my SM-G930T using BariatricPal mobile app 2 Deedee12 and Mom_of_Chaos reacted to this
HipHopDiva 220 Posted August 7, 2019 Correct, if we all could loss weight by exercising right after surgery - why didn't it work before surgery??? 2 Goldn02Grl and 336Mike reacted to this

Too each their own on working out. I don’t judge if people choose to not exercise, moderate or become athletic. All surgeon’s fitness instructions are different. Do you have your surgeons’ instructions yet? My surgeons’ instructions: Walk the day after surgery to help the healing process and build up to walking for an hour. When I was released to lift. I started at the gym doing cardio and lifting. My fitness progressed from there. I'm a sleeve and got to goal in six months. I did exercise right after surgery and lost weight. None of this is a one size fits all bariatric instruction. Do what work’s for you and trust your medical team. 4 Deedee12, Goldn02Grl, Mom_of_Chaos and 1 other reacted to this
HipHopDiva 220 Posted August 7, 2019 Ok Sleevers - some are still missing the point but any who follow your doctors orders. Patiently waiting to be on the other side and start back spinning again!!! 1 Goldn02Grl reacted to this
tashie123 46 Posted August 13, 2019 I am at 6 months and recently joined a boot camp. I really love it. I have PCOS and seem to do better with exercise in general. Also, I have lost a lot of muscle mass and my upper body strength is horrible. I also have more energy now as opposed to before. I totally agree that everyone needs to make a decision for themselves. I am losing slower now so thought it would be a good boost.
