Recommended Posts

I dont see anyone forgetting how different our bodies are. It does not matter how each of us choose to work our fitness program. Our bodies ...our choices.

Correct, if we all could loss weight by exercising right after surgery - why didn't it work before surgery???

Too each their own on working out. I don’t judge if people choose to not exercise, moderate or become athletic.

All surgeon’s fitness instructions are different. Do you have your surgeons’ instructions yet?

My surgeons’ instructions: Walk the day after surgery to help the healing process and build up to walking for an hour. When I was released to lift. I started at the gym doing cardio and lifting. My fitness progressed from there. I'm a sleeve and got to goal in six months. I did exercise right after surgery and lost weight.

None of this is a one size fits all bariatric instruction. Do what work’s for you and trust your medical team.

Ok Sleevers - some are still missing the point but any who follow your doctors orders. Patiently waiting to be on the other side and start back spinning again!!!

I am at 6 months and recently joined a boot camp. I really love it. I have PCOS and seem to do better with exercise in general. Also, I have lost a lot of muscle mass and my upper body strength is horrible. I also have more energy now as opposed to before. I totally agree that everyone needs to make a decision for themselves. I am losing slower now so thought it would be a good boost.
