Food prep containers

I'm not much of a cooker and have been kind of winging it. I want to cook and freeze Protein dishes. Any recommendations for small freezer type dish to use? I tried and searched but nothing came up. Thank you!

Never used them, but they have good reviews on Amazon: Sage Spoonfuls Big Batch Storage Set, 4 Ounce (Pack of 12)

I just keep things simple. I grill 1-2 chicken breasts along with some other thing--often salmon and then just take off 2-3oz portions all week and nuke a quick veg and poof. Meals done! Or I make a turkey roll up, or do a quick 5 minute green Soup, etc...KISS.

I just go to the container section at Walmart. The little plastic ones do okay in the freezer, but do crack if dropped.

Depending on what you are looking to freeze the food saver system might be a good idea. I did a bunch of meals for hubby in single serve sizes while I am in my post op diet. I didn't cook the chicken/meat ahead of time but I did buy larger packs of chicken/steak and preseason/marinade them the shrunk them in single serve portions. I did the same with frozen veggies. Now he has about 3 weeks worth of meals that he can mix & match easily and not feel like he is sacrificing anything while I am not eating and there is no struggle to use/eat all the Protein before it goes bad. It is working out well enough that I may continue to do it once I am back on food.
