DrBrianG 47 Posted August 3, 2019 Good Afternoon Experts: I need to fly out for a family members funeral. Palm Springs- SFO- Omaha Nebraska. Given airline restrictions I am bringing 4 Protein Bars, and will ask for plenty of Water on the flight. Once we land, going to the market to get what I need/can eat. Any other tips? Thanks, Brian Grossman 1 ProudGrammy reacted to this
notmyname 593 Posted August 3, 2019 Sorry for your loss. What phase are you on? I've found string cheese lasts fine for a few hours not refrigerated. I usually take some bars, almonds, string cheese, and (when I could have shakes) single serve Protein Powder and a shaker bottle. You can also almost always buy eggs, cheese, hummus, etc in the airport. Take an empty water bottle.
sillykitty 10,776 Posted August 4, 2019 You can take as much food as you like, with the exception of liquids, and liquid-y type foods. Why are you restricted to 4 Protein bars?

GradyCat 3,695 Posted August 4, 2019 I take Protein bars, protein Cake Bites, protein chips, and almonds with me when I travel. I also take an empty Water bottle and fill it up after I get through security at the airport.
DrBrianG 47 Posted August 20, 2019 Sorry for a late response. On the trip, I brought Protein bars. In farm country, Creighton Nebraska, eggs, Protein Shakes, long walks. Avoided eating corn, Pasta, ; I had cottage cheese, string cheese. No aerobic exercise. no weight gain, only lost two pounds.
