Kristin1031 0 Posted November 21, 2007 Im on the pureed stage and would like peoples advise please I found something that was awesome on this pureed stage, fatfree refreid Beans and salsa blended with some no fat cheese in my Magic Bullet and then put cottage cheese on top. It is so good, and it is almost all protein......Can't go wrong there. Longhorn from this site also eats this...... I also have had scrambled eggs with some grated fresh parmesean cheese on them, that is also a double whamie of Protein.< /p> Hope these help I enjoy both of these. Dave01 0 Posted November 21, 2007 I did the refried Beans, blended with salsa and then heated in micro w/ff cheese on top. Yummy Blended Healthy Choice Clam chowder, mashed potatoes ( not the best choice, but ok for a change), cottage cheese mixed w/ applesauce or peaches, and gallons of smoothies
lovekatz1975 1 Posted November 21, 2007 Ricotta cheese, mozzarella and Tomato sauce in a bowl, microwave it for 30 seconds. I also ate chili, egg salad, tuna salad, filet fish (sole, tilapia), cottage cheese, new england clam chowder.....there is so much to eat while on the mushy stage.< /p>
lilredrules 0 Posted November 21, 2007 I'm about to be banded and am on the pre-op diet. Not doing too bad, but can't wait to have the procedure and finally get to the mushy stage. I'm just curious as to actually "how much" mushy can you actually take in at one sitting? .. The dietician at my doc's office told me and my husband that we need to get used to eating 2 tablespoons for our meals and that's it .. Is that really true? My Dr states 2 - 3 ounces per meal that is correct. He said I will never eat above 4 ounces with the band forever. The 4 ounces is after you are at the maintenance phase. So yeap get used to eating very little but being very satisfied, no hunger. And Bye Bye to the pounds.
