sick of protein shakes..

has anyone had constant diarrhea mainly because of your Protein shakes..i stopped taking them for a few days and have had no issues since....

Are you lactose intolerant? It may be that you are using whey Protein. Change the type of protein you are using.

I agree with the above poster. Lactose intolerance is not all that uncommon after surgery

No, I haven't had any problems. I still drink one every day even now 7 months post-op. I love the chocolate taste. I use premade GNC Lean shakes.

i was using whey Protein Shakes after i stopped using them the problem has disappeared.

Try collagen based Proteins or a vegan Protein. Good Luck.

I just cant do Protein Shakes anymore, I got burnt out on them by having to drink so much of them before and after surgery. My doctor said they wanted me to get my Protein from food vs shakes when I was released to eat anything.

For some reason I stopped pooping when I stopped drinking my shakes. I’m on soft foods and manage to get in 30-50g of Proteins a day but still no poop🙃
