samusaurusrex 35 Posted July 25, 2019 Is it ok to take a fat burning supplement after surgery? I’m 5 months out today. Im talking about ones from GNC or Total Nutrition, not anything like hydroxycut. Does anyone else use any? What is safe and effective? Thanks in advance!
GradyCat 3,695 Posted July 25, 2019 If you're eating enough Protein and not a lot of high-fat foods, would a fat burner supplement really do any good?

Oh, I always thought they were for burning the fat on my body, not that I eat. I do stay low fat and high Protein.

I think they block the fat from the things you eat and burn it to prevent you from gaining it. I could be wrong, but that's how I THINK they work.

Sheribear68 3,201 Posted July 31, 2019 My advice would be to steer clear of anything like this until you’re out of your honeymoon phase. Right now your body just got the best reboot known to us at this time so my thoughts are why risk screwing it back up again with fat burners? Not saying that it would mess you up, but who knows exactly what the risk could be?
