dramermom 6 Posted July 25, 2019 Hi everyone! I'm 11 days post op and doing well. I've had an easy recovery. I just bought a 2 pound container of the Syntrax Nectar Sweets chocolate Truffle and it didn't come with a scoop! Could someone who uses this please tell me how much powder I need to add to 8 ounces of milk? How many tablespoons is your scoop. Thank you! -Melinda

Briswife15 890 Posted July 25, 2019 Sometimes the scoop is buried halfway down the tub! I love Syntrax Nectar. Sent from my SM-N960U using BariatricPal mobile app 2 FluffySaysForkIt! and FluffyChix reacted to this
Darktowerdream 421 Posted July 25, 2019 The scoop always gets hidden under the Protein. I didn’t like Syntrax. My favorite protein is PEScience. I mix my Protein Powder with unsweetened Ripple milk. It’s pea protein and is 1 gram of protein per ounce. I never understood the skim milk recommendation since it’s a lot of sugar vs ripple milk that is zero. 1 FluffyChix reacted to this
New&Improved 1,780 Posted July 26, 2019 1g Protein? Should be at least 20g up to 30g per oz serve. I have a few options I've bought from 22g to 29g protein per serve
Darktowerdream 421 Posted July 27, 2019 The one gram per ounce is the Ripple milk that I mix with Protein powder. The PEScience protein powder is 24 grams protein per serving. With 6 oz of Ripple milk it’s a total of 30 grams protein. I use it because it has zero sugar compared to skim milk. And 30 grams protein is optimal for a Meal Replacement. Cl@ireyBearry 9 Posted July 27, 2019 I have never heard of Ripple Milk. What is it? Where is it available?
Cl@ireyBearry 9 Posted July 27, 2019 If you look at the nutritional facts, the serving size is listed first, and should say “one scoop” or “2 scoops” but it also next to it says how many grams or oz in a scoop. Since you are 11 days post op, I would try about 1/4 cup of Water mixed with a few tablespoons of the powder and take small sips. 11 days out my stomach was NOT ready for dairy, even the fair life milk (low sugar)

Ripple milk is a plant based milk it has much more Protein than nut milks, it’s pea protein. The unsweetened has zero sugar. I buy it in Target, my grocery also sells it but target is less $ Whole Foods also has it if I need it delivered. They are also an environmentally conscious company. It takes much less Water to produce the milk. Plus after trying many types of milk I like it best. https://www.ripplefoods.com/?gclsrc=aw.ds&&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI3LrI35bU4wIVD5-fCh2PXQmEEAAYASAAEgJhUvD_BwE
