Okay so I literally could waste pages here quoting and commenting on everyone’s cute outfits.
Looooooooove all of them.

Side question: how many of you guys are currently struggling to find your style?
I’ve spent so much of the last 20+ years wearing whatever I thought made me look the least fat/whatever was available to purchase in my size and what my pocketbook could afford.
Now that I’ve moved from a size 22/24 and my size 12s are getting slightly roomy, I’m about to start my fall purchases in size medium/10.
As I do this, I realize that I’m still gravitating to some of the “same old, same old” kinds of looks and I’m startled by the fact that I honestly have no idea (besides my necessary requirement for comfy shoes) what I want the new wardrobe to look like

I so agree! So sorry not to comment on each person's SOOO CUTE outfits and how fine they look!!!

Pinterest helped me decide how I wanted to reinvent myself. Only thing is my fat brain won't let me buy super tight things very easily...so my look is still too baggy.

Apparently mine runs deep and I had no idea to what extent until I started reading and posting on this thread. I would describe my style as “budget nautical” lol

I am so grateful to get advice and see what everyone is wearing. It gives me some ideas and maybe I’ll even expand my wardrobe. It’s funny, I’m not a conservative person but I dress pretty conservative.

Lol! I’m seeing the same in myself.

Lol!

Yeah, I’m definitely still in the “budget” phase because I’m hoping to go down at least one if not 2 sizes farther. I too will be open for advice and I too tend toward more, rather than less, conservative.
I think part of that is my personality, but another big part of it is when you’re the largest person in the room, you don’t really want to draw attention through clothing, ya know?
It will take some conscious effort on my part, but I’m going to try for bolder patterns and colors and more daring styles

It was hard at first. I agree I still have “fat” brain. I always wanted to wear knee high boots, I always wanted to be able to fit them over my chunky legs. I experimented “a lot”. I’ve also never tucked in shirts, until now. I’m 8 years out and only now getting comfortable with it. It’s hard to find our new selfs. I’m cleaning out my closet right now. I found a size 6 dress I wore 7 years ago when I first lost all my weight. My sister-in-law helped me pick it out for her baby shower, she is super stylish, and she knew I needed help at first, and helped me a lot. Of course I never fit into it again, until now that I’m finally back on track. I can wait to finally be able to wear it again.

At 56 I have no idea what my style is. I do know that I enjoy dressing up more than most of my friends ( Aussies are super casual). I love wearing dresses. A lot of my clothes come from Op ( charity) shops - it means I can afford to have an extensive wardrobe.

I’ve always been casual. I feel like I never really grew out of the preppy look, although the 7 years I was overweight I pretty much wore JJill. I simply went back to dressing like I did before.

I ordered a shirt online today that pretty much sums up everything I like. (Pic is the model)

Navy✔️ Stripes✔️ polka dots ✔️

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

      2. BlondePatriotInCDA

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
