Wow wow wow! Aren’t you just a week or so post op? Looking really great!

Thanks! 🥰 I was 10 days post-op in this photo. Recovery has been more challenging than I expected. The fatigue has really been getting me down. I am missing my normal energy levels so much. 😕

That was 10 days post surgery??? OMG you look great @WishMeSmaller. How long will you have the drain? I get the post surgical fatigue. I did a few chores around the house last week about a week after my gall removal & I spent the rest of the day on the couch 😁. I can only imagine how it’s affected you after your bigger surgery.

Pretty flash Halloween costume @Ellie64. Looks great on you.

Thank you, @Arabesque! 🥰 We pulled the drain out a couple of days later. I am now 16 days post op, and I go back to work today. Hopefully not going to be too much of a mess with fatigue. I am so swollen and still fatigued with some discomfort. It is going to be 100 degrees F here this week. Super fun with compression garments 24/7. Did I really choose to do this? 😂😂

Trying on a bikini post-plastic surgery. The swelling is unreal (and I still had a drain 🙄), but I am hopeful my final results will be what I wanted. 😊😊

In trying to keep the guys relevant in this thread, I took this pic on my recent birthday. I'm working on my picture poses and hope to be runway ready sometime in the future...lol.

Always looking stylish @Dtrain84. You’ve been runway ready for as long as we’ve known you. Hope you had a happy birthday.

100 degrees & wearing compression garments??? 😱 unimaginable @WishMeSmaller. Be careful not to overheat & good luck going back to work.

its been a while...been busying myself with some long awaited patio and pool time, the weather has been awesome, and our area finally opened up outdoor dining! yay!

@kristieshannon: that red top and jeans outfit make you look super slim. and i love love your jean jacket/dress outfit. I would totally wear that, sunglasses on head and all.

@starladustangel: congrats on the smaller sizes! time to get some slimmer-fitting clothes to show off the new bod

@GreenTealael: funny how adding a scarf to an LBD makes the outfit look so much more shi-shi...and expensive, lol. Your side-a$$ curve is va-va-voom

@smarks: hubba hubba! I'm going to steal that crochet duster of yours.

@WishMeSmaller: wowza! even with the swelling you are looking fab. the boobs! and of course your legs! more bikini shots pls. are you feeling better these days?

@Ellie64: um, that "halloween" dress should see more days than just halloween...you look great in it.

@Dtrain84: lookin sharp as always. happy belated birthday!

Dusted off my running shoes and a pair of running pants this morning.

According to my fitness app, it has been 118 days since I last went for a run (yikes!). Finally went for one this morning, and whoa, I'm outta shape. Got winded after like 20 mins so we spent about an hour "resting" at a lookout instead. LOL.

I live in northern Nevada. We are considered high desert, so cold in the winter and hot in the summer. With that said, we have had snow on the Fourth of July. Right now, it is hot though. And yes, brilliant me in a faja 🤣🤣

@ms.sss welcome back! 💕 I will post more swimsuit pics one of these days. Promise! Jealous of your run 🏃‍♀️ 😬

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
