summerset 5,265 Posted January 17, 2020 Ok, maybe watches are more of a guy's thing? (Flash your watches here, please!) I own more than one Holzkern watch though and several of their bracelets. I have a Suunto watch for sports but that's definitely not a watch I would wear like jewelry. 1 GreenTealael reacted to this

One of the few good qualities my ex had was his good taste in watches and his generosity. I'm set for life .... probably 😆 3 2 GreenTealael, Sophie7713, pssk and 2 others reacted to this

Arabesque 7,442 Posted January 18, 2020 Yep. My hand is up @summerset. I’m a shoe *****. Remember that scene in Sex in the City when Carrie Bradshaw realises she can’t afford to buy an apartment because she spent all her money on shoes. Yep, that’s me. It’s my addiction. The evidence (or the shame) & my latest pair. 3 4 summerset, DaisyChainOz, GreenTealael and 4 others reacted to this

Sophie7713 3,326 Posted January 18, 2020 Did someone say SHOES!? Even though I'm limited to flats (bum left knee) they all seem to make there way into my closet. Slowly replacing my former favorites I had given to Dress for Success. Went from a size 8 to 7 shoe now. Getting a lot of leverage from these favorite winter flats BUT they can't compete with those SEXY numbers Arabesque just modeled! Wow. In fact, I think I just saw my little pair of houndstooth flats run for cover under the bed... I think the high heel bad girls really scare them! Referring to the song by Amy Winehouse called her f---me pumps. Haha. Loved Carrie's shoes... just don't know how one walks or acts on set in them? Her back? But a good friend who was a former national Hanes hosiery model in NYC can really work those platforms and spiked high heels with precision. I have never seen such long and beautiful legs as hers. Her waist is parallel to my shoulders! I think I'll stay closer to the ground. LOL ;] 6 1 rs, Orchids&Dragons, GreenTealael and 4 others reacted to this

Usually barefoot shoes or shoes with a 0 mm heal drop, even if they're a bit more cushioned than a barefoot shoe (e. g. Inov8, Altra, Merrell, Vivobarefoot, Vibram). A heal drop of 6 mm already feels like a kind of heal to me (I have some trekking shoes with this kind of heal drop, it seems to be impossible to get one with a 0 or 3 mm). 1 GreenTealael reacted to this

summerset 5,265 Posted January 18, 2020 I love fivefinger shoes. However, the really light and flexible ones are neither for cold nor wet conditions. I think their ballerinas are adorable. 1 GreenTealael reacted to this
