My first sweater dress ever

and no spandex, just fleece-lined tights underneath.

So funny, I just bought my first sweater dress.

It looks great on you! I think you could size down, and it would be even more flattering, emphasizing your hour glass figure :)

Thank you for the inspiration, Silly Kitty! It is truly one of my favorite outfits that make me feel 10 feet tall! ;]

Absolutely, the fashionista twins! Have you been wearing your pants suit lately? Really versatile. Here's a close up of the seamstress magic. She took the fabric belt and added a more structured, better laying collar. Then, to my surprise - matched up the crane necks which I thought gave it a neat finished look. If you do wear it again... take another picture.

That looks fantastic. I agree, that is better use for the fabric belt.

I have actually not worn mine yet, outside of trying it on and posting pics on here  I'm a semi clothes hoarder, I have more far clothes than I actually need

@FluffyChix you take off the belt, sling it over your shoulder like a WWE belt. You shimmy out of the top. So you're squatting over the toilet in your bra with the rest of your outfit gathered around your knees. It looks totally dignified, I promise

Love the entire outfit! That color is the bomb dot com on you!!!

@Sheribear68 Love the dress! (I also think you could use a smaller size...)

@sillykitty I feared that would be the case! LOL. Or else it would be like Something About Mary where he totally took off all his clothes to go potty. LOL. Hahaha at the "dignified" part!

@KaysMommy Agreed! Wanna see pics of the formal event!!!!

@MIZ60 I want all your boots!!! Will you 'dopt me? :D

@GreenTealael You, Lancelot and I will build a giant wooden badger...

then we'll loot everyone's closet! :) Love everyone's fashion sense!!!

I still just have one burning question for you and @sillykitty...

How do you pee in public while wearing this outfit? :D

A good question! Not sure I have totally figured that one out yet. Asked hubby if he'd wait outside the powder room to help me with the very long back zipper and/or assist with any other unforeseen mechanical problems. True to He Man form, it appeared more interesting from his vantage point to go back into powder room together vs. returning to the cocktail party! Haha. ;]

I had several jumpsuits that I wore going out in the 70's-----it was a huge PITA to have to use a public restroom especially because I always wore pantyhose underneath them to avoid VPLs. So much to hold on to, pull down and keep from touching the floor. And, of course, you have to go more often when you are out dancing and drinking....I think they are cute now but not for me.

I just ordered my first jumpsuit. One I’ve been eyeing from the Gap went on sale for over 1/2 off, so I pulled the trigger. I may have regrets when I have to pee!

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Anyone else wake up to a nice freezing slap from Mother Nature this morning?

Okay so I’m working all late shifts this week, but no excuse not to head off to morning Pilates.

Oh and FYI guys.... that sweater dress is a size medium. Can’t even imagine myself in a small???

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
