My nutritionist said no Peanut Butter YET at my 4 week post-op. Too sticky I guess.

I find Peanut Butter to be tricky because of all the oil they use. Have you looked into PB fit? Probably shouldn't have it right away, but it's better for you than peanut butter.

I had Peanut Butter in my mushies stage, but I had it mixed with Protein Powder, oats, and (well, this was bad) honey. I tried making Protein balls with sugar-free maple Syrup, but that didn't taste nearly as good. I really don't like maple syrup.

I started having 1 tbs of Peanut Butter on a spoon right after my 3rd week it helped me alot. I think people worry about the calories and fat it has in it but i find my body likes some fat like peanut butter and avocados.

My surgeon said no to pretty much all foods. He says think what would u give a 6month baby. Well thats my good excuse cause pediatricians say its good to start alittle peanut butter everyday when there babies so they wont form a allergy to nuts soooo peanut butter is a yes in my book.

And looly, 10 months out, tried p.b. once again, did notwork, did not stay down. My poison, my deadly Kryptonite, perhaps i will just give up and learn to accept it! But it discourages me on a beautiful day.
