Brotherman Bill 19 Posted July 4, 2019 i am 2 months out, and sometimes i vomit without having ate anything for a long time ( of course no real vomit/liquid comes out because my stomach is empty, but i still do it as if i were to throw up something) i hope you understood what i meant. i dont know if its my stomach enzymes filling it up or whats the deal. it happened 4 times so far

Frustr8 7,886 Posted July 5, 2019 Maybe you are going to require them for a longer period; check this out with your surgeon and staff. 1 cristobal reacted to this
cristobal 46 Posted July 5, 2019 I agree. I usually get it from dumping, but the nausea runs after for at least 6 to 8 hours for me. Sent from my F8131 using BariatricPal mobile app

deletedprofile123 34 Posted July 5, 2019 I’ve experienced the same and still do sometimes (I’m 7 years post-op gastric sleeve). Could be GERD, which I have. Definitely check with your surgeon. Keep trying to drink, especially your Protein. You don’t want to get dehydrated. It’s the #1 reason WLS patients return to the hospital. You may also feel fatigued and burn muscle. Gagging on an empty stomach is very painful, I know the feeling! I’m sorry, I hope you get some help soon. 1 Brotherman Bill reacted to this
Brotherman Bill 19 Posted July 5, 2019 but i dont experience heartburn or chest pain, could it still be GRED? just feel nausea similar to the one i get after eating, and my stomach capacity is less. do i need to take my PPI pills everyday or only before meals? because my instructions say take twice a day before meals. but sometimes i go the whole day without eating so i dont take it. LPR is harder to diagnose and treat. I’m no doctor, but at 2 months out, you should definitely be eating better! Please consult with your surgeon and follow their instructions.I really hope you get help and feel better soon. Keep us updated please. 1 Brotherman Bill reacted to this
