LOL. Even if I can drive, I feel like I will be nauseous just thinking about what just occurred. 2 1 ProudGrammy, FluffyChix and Bastian reacted to this
mousecat88 2,281 Posted August 22, 2019 (edited) OMGGGG. I called the SurgiCenter to get the actual cost (the one on the plastic surgeon's form was an estimate) and she put in the wrong CPT code and originally said the facility charge was TWELVE THOUSAND DOLLARS. I almost had a heart attack. Edited August 22, 2019 by mousecat88 1 FluffyChix reacted to this
sillykitty 10,776 Posted August 22, 2019 That sounds reallllly high. I know friends who have gotten mommy makeovers and paid less total than that surgery center charge Is it just a function of being in a small market? They have a captive audience and can charge whatever the heck they want? 1 FluffyChix reacted to this

The actual facility charge is like 2K once they put in the right code!! That's why I almost had a heart attack when she originally said 12K. I was like UMMMM *nervous laughter* Edited August 27, 2019 by mousecat88 1 FluffyChix reacted to this

mousecat88 2,281 Posted September 3, 2019 FOUR DAYS! Until I get that pesky under-armpit "sideflap" of skin removed! I already have scars along there from my breast reduction so... that's a plus (?) I am so nervous to be awake, though. Barf. 1 FluffyChix reacted to this

mousecat88 2,281 Posted September 6, 2019 All went well. Took about 2 hours, but was pretty much painless. Starting to sting a little now. Sent from my SM-G930R4 using BariatricPal mobile app 1 1 FluffyChix and Bastian reacted to this

Lynda486 784 Posted September 7, 2019 So glad it went well for for you. I had a Tummy Tuck in early 2000. I wanted to get my thighs done and my boobs done, but insurance only approved my tummy tuck. The Dr said that when the remove skin from your upper thighs it can make you look "open for business" in the private area. 1 mousecat88 reacted to this
mousecat88 2,281 Posted September 8, 2019 Everything is going well! Slept a lot today, but Tylenol is just fine for any lingering pain. Just burns a bit on and off. I took a peak and it is so smoooooth. Mind you, this is still with the SteriStrips on. I cannot WAIT to shower tomorrow and also go bra shopping soon!!
