Ellf 205 Posted July 3, 2019 So, one thing I've noticed, three months out, is that I'm able to tolerate more of certain foods than I am of others. Wendy's chili, I can eat a full small chili and not have any stomach issues, but if I try to have anything more than a 3 ounce lean meat burger, I have issues. A small chili is eight Fluid ounces, but I figure it's at least half fluid in of itself. I've been eating Protein and tracking my meals, but I'm seeing other programs have serving size guidelines. I forget if I do, but I have a protein target. What's everyone serving sizes looking like, and how far along are you?

mousecat88 2,281 Posted July 3, 2019 It depends on what I am eating. I am 8 months and never eat more than 4-5oz of a dense Protein at a time. It will make me feel SO full and terrible if I do. If I am eating cottage cheese, though, I eat a full cup, which is 8oz... but won't stretch the pouch because it's "slidey" and really great for you so I don't feel bad about it. But yeah, anything that would ever cause me to feel fullness or sickness, I stick to just a few ounces. I know my book has specific guidelines, but I haven't looked at my book in months and seem to be doing better than my office expected so I gotta be doing something right. Butterfly#7 65 Posted July 4, 2019 Well still a “newbie” at only a month since VGS I just started soft foods. I can easily eat a cup (8oz) of Greek yogurt or cottage cheese, but I can barely get down 4 oz other Proteins like meatloaf, tuna, etc.
