Sosewsue61 3,185 Posted June 30, 2019 Chapstick, phone charger, your own pillow (aslo to put against your stomach for the bumpy ride home), mouth swabs - your mouth gets so dry. Herbal tea bags for something warm to drink - it helps. Slippers to walk the hallway, a light robe, yoga pants to wear home, sports bra - a regular one was too uncomfortable. 1 Butterfly#7 reacted to this

cris20495 18 Posted July 1, 2019 The above. And, I'd also suggest an eye mask, pants with a very loose waist band since you won't know where the incisions will hit, slippers, earbuds and earphones. I brought a light robe with me, but wasn't able to put it on since I had an IV in my hand, which didn't allow me to put my arm through the sleeve. So, I might suggest a heavy wrap instead. What you really want to make sure of is that your backside is covered. They'll try to get you walking as soon as possible, and those robes are ridiculous. Phone charger brick. And, if you like watching things, a tablet of some sort that you can watch. However, I had someone watch my bag until I was back in the room. Chapstick is a must. And, something lovely (I brought Olay face clothes) to wash your face with. Good luck!
