Going to try the Toned Arms list, can't do Push Ups, if I get down on the floor, it takes an Act of Congress to get me back up, but the rest? Hey, even an Old Chick like me can do That! I wonder if a Standing up PushUp would work , using a Wall , to and then Push Away? Otherwise, can't hurt and might just work, all I got to spend is my Time. Yeah, the Price is Right and believe I'm ending the month better than I Started, so I count it Successful.

I'm partial to tea, nuts, melon, yogurt, leafy greens, salmon and pastries (always) 😂

Day 25. I haven’t decided if I’m going to the gym today. If I can persuade my youngest to go play tennis I’d rather do that. It’s going to be a beautiful day here, I prefer getting my exercise outdoors on days like this.

My why. I felt so uncomfortable, uneasy and shame when I was overweight. I stopped participating in the world around me. I’m an active participant now. I lost my why for awhile and wanted it back.

I'd say YAY for sure. This has been such a nice way to see things about people, places and things. It has been very encouraging to read even on days where I missed participating.

I’m in, I like checking in. I loved the picture element even if I didn’t always post. It made me look around and be more aware of my surroundings.

Hi, So sorry I haven't been checking in as much. It's been a crazy busy month but all in a good way. So, I've been terrible about the arms, I gave up somewhere along the way. I've started going home at lunch for the puppy and that was my hour to check in and catch up with daily activities like arm exercises. But, I have to say, I've been good about getting to the gym and I've made decent progress for the month. Nearly 8 lbs as of today which is a shade better than the past two months. I'm excited and I can see Onederland ahead! Tomorrow I go for my belated six month follow up. Today, I did a nuclear stress test and they were impressed at my improvement from the one three years ago.

All in all, I think a good month. I have enjoyed everyone's posts and pictures as they arrived in my email. And, yes! I will post puppy pictures soon! I'm looking forward to a more relaxing and quiet weekend this week. If I don't stop back here, I'll see everyone in August!

Honestly, I love salads with a verrrrry vineagrette-y dressing.

Sashimi, grilled steaks and cashews are up there too 😜

      Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!

      Hi everyone! I’m brand new here. I just went through all my pre-op requirements per my insurance company and now everything has been submitted and I’m just waiting for final approval and my surgery date. I’ve been doing research, watching YouTube videos, TikTok’s, ect.. trying to prepare my mind and what to expect so I’ll be ready for the surgery. I was so sure and so set and so ready and excited. However, now that I’ve done everything & it’s almost here, I am sooooooo scared! I know why I want it bc I’ve tried everything and I just don’t feel like I can lose weight by myself. I’m tired of being overweight my entire life. I’m miserable, but I keep psyching myself out afraid of GERD bc I know how that can be and I don’t want to have to get a bypass after already gaining the courage to even get VSG. I’m scared of complications like I’mgoing to regret doing it and be depressed that I didn’t just be more disciplined and try again to lose the weight on my own even sitting here typing this knowing in my mind i just can’t and don’t possess the discipline. I’m also afraid I won’t be able to handle the restrictions of the sleeve. What do I eat? I don’t know how to eat healthy really and don’t enjoy healthy food. I don’t know how to do this! I feel so defeated!Someone tell me they felt anything similar to this or am I not ready? I thought I was. I am so tired of being sick and tired and so tired of myself and so tired of being stuck and stuck in this body and somebody different on the outside from what I feel inside. I just want to ball up and cry.

        Am feeling this right now. My surgery date is 4/1. Sign the consent tomorrow. I feel like I overloaded myself with too much info, too many opinions. Got to the point where I was wondering if I should do this. Then I thought of my reasons for taking this step and that settled my nerves. Still get moments of doubt but am striving forward. Am just going to follow my book from the surgeon. Joined this because I was told by my dietician that I should do this for support
