Sent from my SM-G975U using BariatricPal mobile app I’m on day 9 after surgery. I lost 16lbs - however now i’m in a stalemate. Im worried I’m eating too much. Can that even be possible however?! I’ve been eating tuna with LF mayo (or chicken - I have a purée machine). For a pizza like feel, look up bariatric baked ricotta. It’s excellent. I also take no sugar added canned peaches and purée them as well, or I’ll have a fudgcicle. I actually don’t mind this part too much, however I’m drinking coffee with skim milk which I’m worried is a no-no. Good luck - we got this!
cgrace09 4 Posted July 15, 2019 I'm 12 days post Op and have lost 11bs...yay! Was hungry and bored after 4 days of liquid diet...craved more Protein. Ate Soups with pureed meat and felt significantly better. I seem to be able to eat anything comfortably, but force myself to slow down and actually enjoy it. I weigh EVERYTHING on my food scale and am very satisfied before I finish anything. The realization that 2-4oz of anything is enough to satisfy me is mindblowing! I feel super accomplished considering I used to eat a 3 scoop sundae, coke, chips, etc in 1 sitting. Remember, this is a marathon, not a sprint and every good thing you do, in this moment, matters. DianaP 38 Posted July 16, 2019 I'm 2 weeks post-op today and have lost 12 pounds! Initially I was worried I wasn't losing enough, because I dropped 6 lbs in 4 days, and then just 1-2 lbs for the entire following week. But then another 6 lbs dropped off in the past couple days! I'm wondering if that's the way it will go for me the whole weight loss journey. 1 Mom_of_Chaos reacted to this
