I’m only in the beginning stages of my year long pre- surgery stage. I called my insurance company today (required by surgeons office) to discuss my coverage. A few things I learned is that they only cover one surgery per lifetime so I need to choose wisely which surgery to go with. They also told me that skin removal is not covered, period. Not even apron removal. What has everyone used to help with loose skin and elasticity issues? I know genetics plays a huge role here and I know I’ve been given a crap hand in that department so I’m looking for ideas I can start now to help my skin heal prior to surgery.

Hi! Most likely it will come down to what the Surgeon/You both agree is best, what is physically possible and best for your particular situation. Take their advice very seriously but advocate for yourself and seek info out too.

Eventually i plan to self pay for any plastics so...104489898_giphy(2).gif.b299f3e081c0a8f4fb2e56b05533f0ee.gif

Joking joking joking, i lack the musculature for all of that...

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
