Please look my pics over and tell me what you think or would do. I want to have another breast reduction(2010-I think all I got was a lift. I had no cup size change) and a brachioplasty. I’ve always been top heavy and thought it makes one look bigger all over. And my arms disgust me. But I don’t know if I have body dysmorphia. Do y’all think I would feel better about the way I look if I do this. I feel like I would look somewhat altogether smaller if my breasts weren’t the focal point. I’m a 6 on bottom and a large/12 on top.

Has anybody had a brachioplasty that regretted it?

I don’t think you look disproportionate at all. You need to do what’s right for you, but from the outside, through a stranger’s eyes, you look good.

Your arms look good in the photos so I can’t really advise on brachioplasty For me, brachioplasty was just about the best money I ever spent. It’s been two years and the scars are still visible, but I would take them over my old bat wings any day.

Mama, you look awesome!!! In an outsiders opinion. However, you need to do what you think will make YOU happy!

I agree you look great, I had a breast reduction and never regretted it, but I was 21, a size 8 and a triple E, so I reduced to a D. You do not look like you are that top heavy.

my bat wings were about like yours. They were there, but not horrible. I've seen much, much worse. I did get a brachioplasty, but to be honest, it had the least "wow" factor of all of my procedures. They do look better, but it's not like super dramatic. I know people who've had huge bat wings that were *dramatically* improved by brachioplasty, but mine - eh. Again, certainly better than before, but nothing shocking. I kind of doubt anyone notices a difference.

as far as breasts, yours look perfectly fine, but if you want them smaller, go for it. I had a reduction because I hate large breasts - I wanted to be a B cup. And that's what I have now. I always had big breasts and I *love* being small on top now!

I think you look great, but you're the one who has to be happy.

I agree with the other posters, the decision to get plastics should be based on your opinion alone. You need to do what makes you feel awesome, not what other's think.

P.S. if i read correctly, you had an arm lift in 2010? If so, the absence of scars on your arms are pretty impressive!

@anaxila, if its not too much to ask, would you mind posting a pic of your arm and scar? I am scheduled for an arm lift myself in December. I know I scar easily and take a long time to heal, but like you, I don't care about the resulting scar as much as I care about ridding myself of these bat wings of mine (I had a breast reduction 15 years ago, and the scars are still visible, but I prefer them over the disproportionally large breasts I had back then any day).

Anyhoo, I'm curious what a 2 year old scar looks like.

I understand if you are uncomfortable with posting a pic, so no pressure if you don't want to! ♥️

Thank y’all for your responses. It’s nice to know how I’m seen by other ladies. I guess it is how we feel about ourselves. Like catwoman7, I’ve been big busted all my life and genetically have big arms from my mom’s side of women. I just always felt that I looked bigger than I was because of my bustline and always having to buy my clothes to fit “them.”

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.
