susunorm 95 Posted June 20, 2019 I had my surgery August 21 of last year, my surgery weight was 294 today I’m 219. Starting weight was 311. I am happy and content, because I feel so much better than I felt at my heaviest! Sometimes we like to compare our numbers with everyone else, but everyone has separate journeys. First picture is current of me, I recently fit into size 14 pants! I was wearing size 24 pants day of surgery! Second pic, I’m the one in the middle. I can’t stand to look at it! :( 1 2 GreenTealael, Aprilgal and VSG_Me_2019 reacted to this

lyladyp 120 Posted June 20, 2019 I like this...it can be difficult not comparing our stories to others. You look terrific - keep pushing forward! 2 Aprilgal and susunorm reacted to this
DeeberLee 300 Posted June 20, 2019 (edited) I'm losing slower now also. In the past I would panic, comparing myself to others etc. I had to let that go. We all have different shapes and metabolisms. I run 4 times a week and strength train 3 times a week. I feel fantastic. I'm wearing smaller sizes now than when I was this weight in the past. One step at a time. We will all get there. Aprilgal 91 Posted June 20, 2019 Congrats on the size 14 - you look amazing. Love this post. We all can't lose 20+ pounds a month and that's a-ok! 1 susunorm reacted to this
