1 Month Post Op Gastric Sleeve - Mexican Restaurant

Recommended Posts

Hi y'all I'm new to the forum. I was sleeved on May 20th so I am in my Soft Foods stage now. My company is having a party at a Mexican Restaurant later this week. What can I eat? I was thinking refried Beans and maybe some cheese? I don't they will be low-fat refried beans. What else can I eat?

I've eaten Taco Bell reftied Beans since week three. It's such a small amount that I don't think lowfat matters much. The beans are the Protein. Enjoy. You can always check with your team and your program.

During soft phase I was addicted to refried Beans with salsa on top. No need for cheese, I think. You don't need much else during that phase anyways as the beans will be filling and delicious.

I had a similar situation at about 1 month out. I just ate a few bites of refried Beans, cheese or no cheese. I was truly full after only a few small bites. So, I spent my time enjoying the company and atmosphere.

refried beans for sure. Soft food phase I would eat them mixed with some lowfat sourcream or salsa.

They probably have a chicken tortilla Soup you can eat.

Personally, I’d go for the Soup. Anything else... Chew, chew, chew your food! Then chew some more!
