KenzyMartin 0 Posted June 17, 2019 I have got sleeved 18 months ago and I have lost 100 lbs but in the last few months I have gained 30 lbs back. I have also hypoglycemia which makes me hungry all the time. my dietitian didn't give me a suitable diet or any diet at all which makes me so confused about what to eat. I don't know what to do. I am so depressed. I am afraid that my stomach gets stretched back to its normal size and I get back to my pre-operation surgery. 1 FluffyChix reacted to this
GreenTealael 25,430 Posted June 17, 2019 I highly suggest Protein dense, dressing free salads. 2 LearningToLoveMeAgain and FluffyChix reacted to this
GradyCat 3,695 Posted June 17, 2019 You know how to eat. The bariatric plate is 1/2 Protein, 1/4 veggies and 1/4 grains and you're supposed to start with the protein and not move on to the next part of the plate if you're full. Keep portion sizes to 1/2 cup. Avoid a lot of starches and sugars. You've got this. You can do this. 4 darling58, Beachyfe, LearningToLoveMeAgain and 1 other reacted to this
allwet 868 Posted June 18, 2019 (edited) If you dont like the ride get off the Insulin roller coaster. Protein, healthy fats, carbs from veggies only. shop on the walls of your store. i live in the middle of farm country and have yet to see a box growing in a field, tho i fear it comes for us all one day. like all things its not an all or nothing thing. set a small goal and works toward it then pick up the goal post and carry it with you towards a new and better goal. do not give up! Kahkeetsee 64 Posted June 27, 2019 I've lost 100 pounds but recently stopped and actually gained 5 lbs. It is totally diet. My carbs picked way up and it shows. Definitely continue to eat your Protein first. I still find that Proteins fill me up quickly as I approach the 11 month post surgery mark; but got lazy and began eating more carbs. Now back on track, and as hard as that is, it's the only way. 1 rs reacted to this
