Does anyone know why my toes feel like there tingling all the time

Recommended Posts

I had my sleeve surgery may 31st. The night i ran out of pain meds my toes tingled at night which kept me up most of the night. Its so annoying i want to bang my foot on the floor. If i put preasure on my toes it feels better but its driving me nuts and even taking ambien at night im hardly sleeping because of it. Does anyone know why or how to stop it?

I tryed drinking more Water like maybe its from dehydration but that doesnt seem to be the case. Anyone know?

That sounds like it could be a nerve issue. Maybe nerves that are still healing ? You should check with your surgeon for sure.

Are you diabetic? Do you have foot neuropathy?

I had an appointment with my surgeon yesterday he just said lets leep an eye on it. He said there werent anyother symptoms to suggest anything else. He said if its still going on at our next appointment then maybe i need restless leg symptom medicine. Im not diabetic ether so i just dont know. Hoping someone had same issues.

Ive always had a problem with my hands going numb at night when i sleep on my side and thats do too nerve problems in my shoulders and neck but to have my toes tingle now its getting harder to sleep.. it must be a nerve issue in my toes which i hope somehow goes away.

I kinda wonder if this WLS triggered a bigger problem in my body. My sister has alot of nerve issues and is misserable. Oh dear i hope that doesnt happen for me. I didnt even think about it till now.

I get “itching” in my feet and toes. Mine is a side effect from Percocet. Try an antihistamine. Also, your gut can produce histamine and cause the tingling, also try allergy medicine or a probiotic for your gut.
