AZhiker 2,253 Posted June 8, 2019 Fat tissue can tie up Vitamin D, rendering many people to be deficient. Have any of you found that your post op blood work was showing higher levels of Vitamin D? Did getting rid of fat help your body utilize Vit D better? 1 ARMoma45 reacted to this
ARMoma45 353 Posted June 8, 2019 Oh, I so hope this happens for me. I've been battling low Vitamin D for a year and a half with little to no results.
Frustr8 7,886 Posted June 8, 2019 Me too, have to take extra Vitamin D, Iron , and Calcium although not all at the same moment. And the Magnesium fairy is waving her little hand to remind she's there also. Did you know you can't take Calcium and Magnesium at the same time? They are both Positive ions and head for the same receptor. Just another thing to schedule 2 hours apart. I feel like I'm selecting from a Chinese menu, 1 from Column A, 2 from Column B and bring me this one in Column C for dessert! 1 ARMoma45 reacted to this
AZhiker 2,253 Posted June 9, 2019 and don't take Iron and Vit D together. The iron binds up the Vit D. I take my multi/biotin/B-12 with breakfast/lunch and then the calcium/D with dinner. 1 ARMoma45 reacted to this
