Danrod78 3 Posted June 7, 2019 Good morning I just had my surgery done 4 days ago, how much walking should I be doing in a daily basics, and is it that hard just being in liquid diet for two weeks??Sent from my SM-N960U using BariatricPal mobile app 2 FluffyChix and mmihalko reacted to this
GradyCat 3,695 Posted June 7, 2019 You can do as much walking as you have energy to do. Break it up into small 5 or 10 minute walks instead of one big long walk if you want to. Yes, it's different being on a two week liquid diet, but it's perfectly doable and you won't die from it. 🙂 4 sillykitty, koketika, FluffyChix and 1 other reacted to this
FluffyChix 17,415 Posted June 7, 2019 Congrats. No excuses. Take no prisoners. Get off your bum, and walk every hour for at least 5 minutes. Your ass and the blood clots you won't get will thank you for it. Trust me, you're eating sooo few calories that you are in ketosis and your body has an unlimited smorgasborg of fat strapped to your body to use for fuel for living and your walk. I was walking about 30-60 minutes per day right after surgery in 5 minute snippets! 2 Danrod78 and sillykitty reacted to this
