sleevin7 26 Posted June 4, 2019 (edited) However, when do you stop losing weight? I've lost 150lbs... very satisfied! The hanging skin, well that's another story! I'm getting a little worried. Was 300, lost half of my weight. I eat but when I get full I stop. I eat small portion, lots healthy but some I do indulge...It will be a year, the end of this month the 26th. I don't want to go under 150. My legs are so little my son calls me stick legs, I'll take it though. I'm much healthier, I move around a lot easier, exercise, ride my bike and tons of other stuff I wasn't able to do before. I slowed down with the exercising because I don't want to go below 150. Any suggestions? Also, my hair...OMG! it started falling out. I'm not that big on Protein and very sensitive to Vitamins. However, started back to protein and drink and eating things high in vitamins, any suggestions on this would be helpful too! ms.sss 15,724 Posted June 4, 2019 I'm sort of in the same boat. I'm in the process of gradually increasing my calories to stop the weight loss. Like you, I get full pretty quickly so I am resorting to grazing all day to get the calories in. I've only minimally upped my carbs and fat and am trying to make up the calories by volume, but I'm not sure this is going to work for very long. I know I'm going to have to up those macros, but I'm not mentally ready for that yet. As for exercise, I didn't/don't want to reduce the amount I do...for me, I think its important to stay active (and I also kinda like it now, lol). I started a "Maintenance Thread", to get the conversation going on this topic...you can check it out (it just started ) 2 1 sleevin7, Healthy_life2 and sillykitty reacted to this
Losebig 508 Posted June 5, 2019 Have this issue too and am about 18 months out. The key is energy dense foods. I eat a lot of nuts, fattier meat (I.e beef and pork more than chicken) and more Snacks (6 meals / snacks a day). I'm very active though and if I get busy I start to drop weight again so have to pay attention. You can and will stop, just track food and calories and find your sweet spot. if you are really struggling do a bigger treat that is calorie rich (I may do ice cream or a 400 cal pastry if I'm running for example to boost calories) 1 sleevin7 reacted to this
allwet 868 Posted June 5, 2019 my weight loss stopped on its own. i was going down 3 pounds a month like clock work then one day weighed in at 143 pounds and 2 days later was 145 then 147 a week later. now i cycle back and forth from 147 to 150. i didn't do anything different of change up anything. i just bounced off the 143 and settled in at my now "normal" weight. this was almost 5 months ago and i feel good and i am adjusting to the mind set that i am all done with the weight loss and moving on with my life. 2 1 Taoz, sleevin7 and rs reacted to this
