Krestel 330 Posted June 2, 2019 Here in Sweden, we eat game meat more commonly than when I grew up in the States. I absolutlely love it! Reigndeer, elk/moose, and venison is amazing...So how does game meat compare to cow meat in terms of gastric bypass digestion? Anyone have any experiences? I would hate to miss out. GreenTealael 25,430 Posted June 2, 2019 It can be ...tougher to digest Cook very tenderly like in stews or roast for the beginning transition into firm proteins... I would not recommend mediums or rares No reindeer or elk for me but I have tried venison, goat and lamb Good luck! 💙

MrsGamgee 756 Posted June 2, 2019 One bonus with game meat is that it largely very lean... yay you! I would second what was said above. Starting with braised meats, stews, and other 'wet' cooking methods seems like a good idea.Sent from my SM-G960W using BariatricPal mobile app
