Jessibird 32 Posted May 30, 2019 I am attempting to re-set my pouch. I'm 2.5 years out and I gained 20 lbs the last 8 months. Should I stick to Premier Protein and Water or make myself a trim healthy mama Protein Shake with okra?Sent from my SM-G970U using BariatricPal mobile app

Sent from my SM-G970U using BariatricPal mobile app I just go back to basics when I need to lose weight. Protein first, then non-starchy vegetables. If I have room after that, maybe a small serving of fruit or whole grains. I don't think I could go all the way back to shakes only at this point. I also have reactive hypoglycemia. Eating something every 3-4 hours helps with that. Either a protein or, if I do a carb, then I pair it with a protein - for example, some apple slices with Peanut Butter. 1 Jessibird reacted to this

Sent from my SM-G970U using BariatricPal mobile app Hi Jess, I had a 16 pound gain my third year. It was work and slow to get it back off. It can be done and you have a lot of support here. pouch reset works for some of us. For me the calorie range was too restrictive. liquids never kept me feeling full. I went back to real food stage basics. Logged my food, hydrate and exercise. I had to find the calorie and carb range my body started losing again. Get temptation out of the house Eat dense Protein sources and real whole food to keep you feeling more satisfied Realize you will feel crappy detoxing off sugar and extra calories and carbs. It will pass. The mental battle is a big part of getting back on track. Here are a few threads that may help. Jessibird 32 Posted May 31, 2019 You are doing better than me. I ate a sandwich last night and coffee and a salad today. But the only other thing I have had the last 48 hours is Protein Shakes and Water. Great job!Sent from my SM-G970U using BariatricPal mobile app 1 1 Mauiv1969 and GradyCat reacted to this
